The GE Aviation Power Conversion and Control business is leading the way in the application of advanced technologies towards the development and delivery of high-performance power conversion products for aerospace, military ground vehicles, and industrial hybrid vehicle applications utilizing advanced technologies such as SiC and GaN.

Roles and Responsibilities
Apply advance engineering concepts and technical requirements such as product definition designs, analyses, and tests for high power conversion electronics components and systems
Mentor technicians and designers/engineers in design and analytical methods.
Lead engineers in proposal development efforts, prototype designs, and design-to-cost solutions for complex electro-mechanical systems and components
Execute the design, development, and analysis of assigned individual and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirement
Develop, analyze, and recommend topologies for high power/high density power converters
Provide technical guidance to other team members
Implement and develop plans to meet technical requirements of assigned components and systems
Participate and/or present in program reviews
Provide power conversion products solutions through modeling, simulation, design and analysis circuits and their controls
Provide proposals for new and innovative designs
Present technical accomplishments at customer reviews
Create qualified designs that meet military and/or FAA compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Power Electronics Design Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Engineering environment
Minimum of 3 years of experience designing Power Electronics circuitry

The salary range for this position is 94,500 – 157,500 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
