Purpose of the Department Function

Purpose of the Department Function As key member of BU Controlling the Financial Controller will support, participate and drive the financial planning process (Budget, Forecast) and reporting process (month closing) for the Business Unit. Working closely together with BU Controlling and local Site Finance (in subsidiaries) to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of the financial planning and reporting.

Description of the Role

Description of the Role BU Financial Controller:
- Participate in the financial planning (Budget, Forecast) and financial reporting (monthly) processes.
- Review, reconcile and challenge data reported by Sites to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with standards.
- Participate in preparation of BU Monthly Performance Report including variance reporting on Sales, Profit, Net Working Capital and cash-flow.
- Review, challenge and validate Net working capital and Cash-flow reporting.
- Maintain, develop and harmonize financial reporting tools and data (Excel, Cognos Controller, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
- Perform ad-hoc analyses of performance to support BU and Sites in driving financial perform
- Support Sites in ensuring an adequate internal control environment
- Contribute to an effective cooperation with BU Wind Systems Sites and with Group Controllingance improvements. Izmir Site Controller:
- Support Head of Finance in monthly financial closing and reporting to BU and Group
- Review, reconciliation and analysis of month closing data in local ERP (D365)
- Reporting of month closing data to Group in “Cognos Controller” in accordance with Accounting Manual and Closing calendar
- Participate in preparation of Site Monthly Performance Report including variance reporting on Sales, Profit, NWC and cash-flow
- Support Site Finance in preparation of forecast and budget reporting to BU and Group
- Perform ad-hoc analysis
- Become a Key User in D365 and Cognos Controller.

Skills and Experience

Skills and Experience - Minimum of 3 years’ business relevant experience
- Experience in working in a multinational organization
- Strong accounting understanding
- Holistic but with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Persistent making sure the job gets done
- Able to plan and organize his/her workload within tight and fixed deadlines
- Data driven and with a flair for data crunching
- Good skills managing ERP, Excel, Power Point, Power BI
- Team player who involves and shows appreciation
- Self-confidence with ability to advocate an independent point of view
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university on Finance
- English certificate (written and verbal)
- Good communication skills
