At Canva, we believe that design can empower the world. Our platform enables people to bring their ideas to life through beautifully crafted visual content. We’re looking for a Business Development Rep. to join our team in Vienna, supporting our Sales and Success team.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Rep. focusing on Sales and Success support, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships. You’ll collaborate with the Sales and Success team to identify new business opportunities, optimize existing partnerships, and ensure the successful implementation and utilization of Canva’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Success team to identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Research and analyze market trends and potential business opportunities within the EMEA region, aligning with company goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry contacts.
  • Create and execute Business Development strategies that drive revenue growth and expand Canva’s market presence.
  • Support the Sales team by providing insights, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to enhance their sales efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of Business Development initiatives.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations to the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
  • 1.5-2 years of experience in Business Development, sales, or a similar role within the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and executing partnerships that drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with design or marketing tools and understanding of the SaaS industry is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach Tools and cold calling.
