Department

The Mechanical team for Regional Operation Support is responsible for :

  • Day to day technical support to Service Operations (troubleshooting).
  • Customer interface for technical issues (questions and problems) related to Service Business.
  • Engineering support on locally developed solutions for the existing fleet.
  • Coordinate changes on the existing fleet by providing input in centralized processes (CIM, ECR, projects).
  • Ensure deployment of technical solutions to sites.
  • Ensure correct SW and parameter settings on sites.

 

Responsibilities

As CMS Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Analysis and interpretation of wind turbines Drive-Train vibrations signals
  • Establish accurate assessment of wind turbines Drive-train dynamic behavior and mechanical conditions, provide diagnostic reports, launch appropriate inspections and maintenance operations in order to grant high efficiency of the turbines and customers satisfaction.
  • Perform technical review and interpretation of external condition monitoring alarm reports.
  • Follow and report the operations lead by the condition-based maintenance activity: planning, technical feedbacks, and costs.
  • Capitalize in the cases that were succesful generated by your activity and promote the proactive strategy to our internal customers.
  • Develop deep investigations on complex cases and failures occurred in wind turbines Drivetrain.
  • Ensure the implementation of the proactive maintenance strategy in the organization.
  • Be proactive in improving the tools and processes used, in particular the faults detection capabilities
  • Actively participate to increase the availability of the wind turbines to ensure profitability in our service contracts.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to Dept. Operations, Construction, Customer Service and R&D.
  • Participate in technical meetings with our customers and partners.
  • Be proactive in the continuous improvement of the processes used
  • Trips to be planned on windfarms throughout France and abroad.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bac + 5 level required (Master or Engineering school), with good skills in vibrations analysis and signal processing
  • Certification ISO18436-2 Cat.II or higher is a bonus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required in vibration analysis of rotating machines and diagnostic, ideally in industrial maintenance activity 
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Knowledges of SAP is a bonus
  • Mastery of Office pack (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good knowledge in general mechanic and technical plan reading.
