We are seeking for a high performing Experienced Assistant/ Senior to join our growing Corporate Finance – Valuation, Modelling & Economics (VME) and / or Financial Due Diligence Consultant team with the following qualifications;

  • A relevant university degree,preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Min.2 years experience in relevant areas such as Corporate Finance, Due Diligence, Equity Research, Auditing, Strategic Planning and Business Development.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Conducts advanced financial analysis.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced computer software application (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
  • Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadline

Job Description - VME

As a Valuation, Modelling & Economics professional, you’ll make technical contributions to valuation client engagements and internal projects.
You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the target business and its market, and of clients’ issues, performing research and analysis of the target’s industry and of quoted companies operating in that sector.
You’ll deal with day-to-day queries raised by clients and will attend internal and external meetings relating to the assignment. Your duties will also include, keeping the manager, senior manager, director and partner abreast of progress and of any significant issues.
You’ll perform valuation calculations and analyses, as well as being involved in drafting written file notes, letters, presentations and reports, formulating views on value, presenting conclusions to the rest of the team and contributing to the presentations of our work and findings to the client. Striving to deliver the valuation on time and within budget, you’ll maximize assignment profitability where possible.
Within your role, you’ll obtain regular feedback on a timely basis and be alert to learning and development opportunities. You’ll actively establish and develop external and internal relationships, helping to create a positive learning culture within the team. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you’ll also escalate issues as appropriate.

The opportunity- Financial Due Diligence

EY Strategy and Transactions provides services within the domain of mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, valuations, business modelling, due diligence and financial consulting. Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.

EY Strategy and Transactions is growing and is looking for a Senior Consultant to work in Financial Due Diligence assignments in context of buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, servicing both corporate and private equity clients throughout the whole transaction process .

The successful candidates will:

  • Strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or other related field
  • Minimum two years of related work experience in a relevant domain (financial due diligence, audit, finance, strategy, etc.)
  • Team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Strong Excel knowledge and good report-writing skills in English.
  • Be an excellent communicator, both oral and written in English

Male candidates must have fulfilled or postponed their military service obligations

Job Description - Financial Due Diligence

In your role as a Senior Consultant you will:

  • Analyze and present financial information (e.g. Income, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statements) and operational key performance drivers
  • Analyze key valuation considerations such as underlying EBITDA, working capital requirements and net financial debt to bridge Enterprise and Equity Value
  • Coordinating with other due diligence workstreams (e.g. legal, tax, IT, HR, and commercial) and the client
  • Providing input to share purchase, shareholders and debt agreements
  • Use technology and data analytics tools such as Alteryx and PowerBI to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to work on cross-border projects
