About Our Client

Our client has been offering premium engineering solutions in small domestic appliances (vacuum cleaner, tea/coffee maker, blender) market with its strong product development, R&D and manufacturing capabilities. Among its strategic priorities, innovation is at the top. They're growing fast (+40 Million USD revenue) and in the stage of investing and developing the organisation for branding in export as well.

Job Description

• Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
• Team management: 7 people (including Financial Planning and Control, Accounting, Treasury, Risk Management)

The professional will be accountable for:

• Playing a pivotal role in leading financial strategy and it's execution
• Guiding and preparing the company's short/long-term financial plans, budget and business forecasts by developing and utilising forward looking financial analysis approach to make actionable recommendations to the CEO and leadership team
• Tracking the company's performance against budget
• Reviewing the balance sheet and P&L
• Enhancing the organisation's financial capabilities to minimise risks
• Closely partnering with functional leaders across a variety of finance related processes
• Coaching, developing and motivating the staff to reach the highest performance standards in a fast-paced and complex manufacturing environment

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Engineering, master degree is a plus
• 15 years of experience with minimum 5 years of financial leadership background is a must
• Solid know-how in financial planning and control, accounting, risk and treasury
• Having good network in national/international banks and financial institutions (especially for incentives and credit development)
• Manufacturing company experience would bring advantage
• Business acumen, robust analytic skills and commercial mindset
• Strong internal/external stakeholder management and representation skills
• Having ownership mindset, entrepreneurial, creative, challenge-seeker and resilient
• Being a great team player, having collaborative leadership style and great people management skills; able to inspire & influence & mobilise the organisation, develop and retain talents
• Fluency in English is a must
