Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct period closing and reporting processes efficiently with high quality and submit required financial reports timely.
- Work together with commercial and operation team to collate data, review / analyze and prepare periodic business forecasts
- Perform monthly & quarterly analytical review of PL account movements incl. forecast vs actual, for reporting and business improvement purposes.
- Perform project accounting analytical review, identify and propose remedial action plans for relevant business exposure.
- Partner with the operation team on the project management from the finance perspective to ensure project WIP, CM, Billing, Est. Cost Accrual and all working capital components are managed efficiently etc.
- Analyze base cost monthly and establish remedial action plan if relevant,
- Assist accounting manager / Controller for other reporting preparation & submission in a timely and accurately manner, complete account reconciliation & other ad hoc requests
- Assist business controller for all financial audits, both internal & external
- Abide with all internal control and finance / accounting procedures
- Collate information for cash flow actual, prepare forecast reporting, and analyze anomalies
- Response to accounting / finance queries and or adhoc request timely
Required Qualifications
- University graduate with major in finance or accounting
- Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in multi-national companies, GL experience is a must;
- Good accounting and business finance analytical skill
- Fluent in English, both written and speaking. Chinese written and verbal skill is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, good team player
- self-motivated, could work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision.
