Roles and Responsibilities
As the Team Leader within the Fluid Systems organization, you will:
- Guide a team of engineers responsible for multiple in-service and New Product Introduction engines
- Accountable for day-to-day operation of multiple programs and projects across multiple engine lines. This includes conflict resolution, supporting schedule definition, technical support, mentoring early career engineers and integration within a joint venture.
- Provide Team Leadership and guidance in all areas from initial hardware concept through component certification and field service.
- Drive supplier-designed efforts including both technical and programmatic efforts
- Actively lead and participate in internal and supplier design reviews.
- Complete necessary analysis and evaluation of proposed designs for assigned projects adhering to business standards and design guidelines.
- Engage in a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needs.
- Present design details and philosophy to internal and external customers
Required Qualifications
- Engineering bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering
