We are looking to hire a Payroll Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Reynosa:
Responsibilities
- Run calculation of weekly/biweekly/monthlu payroll process
- Timesheet’s data entry
- Run calculation of special payroll processes (Christmas bonus, profit sharing, saving fund, etc)
- Running of appropriate reports and distribution of the payroll to the employees.
- Review earnings, deductions, and benefits calculations.
- Answer all ZF plants and their employees’ questions concerning the payroll and individual paysilps.
- Ensures compliance with Mexican Federal and State laws regarding payroll.
- Make sure that time and attendance data and other payroll interfaces are correct.
- Ensuring all reporting deadlines are achieved and ZF accounting policies and practices adhered to.
- Submit information using Tax agencies Portals(SAT,IMSS, INFONAVIT)
- Calculate and prepare payroll taxes (SUA, State, Federal)
- Experience using the SUA program and employees annual tax return calculations
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.
- Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance.
Requirements:
- Accounting, Administration or Finance Degree
- The ideal candidate with 3-4 years Payroll process experience.
- Experience with USA, Canada Payroll process will be a PLUS
- 70-90% Bilingual English/Spanish
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
- Knowledge of People Soft, SAP and QAD system preferred.
- Very Good computer skills using MS Office.
- Strong Experience in Internal Controls
- The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards
