As planner in one of our Supply Chain departments for Accessories, you will be responsible for the supply planification of a range of luxury items.

Your analytics, communication and negotiation skills will make you a strong contributor to business growth.

 

MAIN PURPOSE

- Ensure product availability aligns with sales forecasts, stock policies, and production constraints

- Optimize stock levels

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure production planning with our suppliers

  • Develop a supply plan for novelties and range products over a 15-to-24-month period.
  • Conduct S&OP analysis and anticipate capacity-load alerts.
  • Lead industrial feedback meetings with suppliers.
  • Prepare annual budgets and communicate them to your stakeholders.
  • Arbitrate with the Demand Planner in case of under-capacity and prioritize productions.
  • Provide back-up for your Supply Planner colleague.

 

Central stock management

  • Optimize stock levels and ensure alignment with approved stock policies.
  • Conduct projected stock analysis, communicate results to Finance, and ensure adherence to Maison's objectives.
  • Monthly monitoring of raw materials and components committed to suppliers and in stock on central warehouse, as well as a proposal for their disposal.
  • Create recycling files (saleable products, NFS, components) and oversee their implementation, providing a report after the physical recycling.
  • Monitor 2nd and 3rd choice stocks in collaboration with Cartier Operations Customer Service team and send analysis to the Customer Service Quality team in Paris.
  • Maintain good communication with Compliance teams and follow CMP topics.

 

Supplier management

  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Support suppliers on structuring and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor productions, component purchases, stocks, ongoing orders, and alerts of production delays.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on chosen KPIs (Service rate, delivery delay).
  • Regularly organize visits to our main suppliers and prepare the agenda and the presentation in collaboration with your colleagues.

 

Manage new products

  • Actively participate in risk analysis for new launches and attribution recommendation meetings.
  • Co-construct novelties production planning with Development teams.
  • Communicate lot sizes and quantities to relevant departments based on launch quantities and potentials provided by the Demand Planner.
  • Alert in case of incompatible MOQ with sales potentials.
  • Alert in case of planning risks to all development monitoring instances.

 

Inform all Supply Chain stakeholders through various communication channels

  • Analyze stock levels and upcoming deliveries for Product Review.
  • Establish and communicate Supply Chain indicators to different meetings (Business Review, Quarterly supplier routine, COMOP/S&OP, industrial feedback).
  • Communicate and ensure understanding of production planning to relevant departments (COP Packaging, Purchasing).
  • Summarize and simplify alerts /supply chain topics during preparation and presentation of S&OP/COMOP meetings.
  • Defend Supply Chain positions and reach a consensus with stakeholders.

 

Tools and continuous improvement

  • Maintain Anaplan models and PowerBI tools and implement improvements.
  • Adapt tools to changes in the business and specificities of the Objects Department.

 

Lead development and optimization projects

-    Participate in or manage projects following current project methodology.

 

Foresee and anticipate change

  • Monitor training courses related to changes in the working environment.
  • Identify training needs and suggest improvements for efficiency.

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?

You have an engineering degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or any similar scientific field.

You have excellent proven analytical skills and you use tools like PowerBI and Looker to build relevant dashboards.

You have a strong understanding of BI tools and overall ERP systems (SAP a plus).

You are pro-active, curious and familiar with the agile methodology.

You have incredible communication skills, with both technical and non-technical teams.
