The purpose of the position; To lead and coordinate development activities of mechatronic components for vehicle programs in accordance with Stellantis Product Development requirements.

Specific responsibilities;

• This position will be responsible for the activities related to Mechatronic components for Stellantis global vehicle programs including FIAT, JEEP, MASERATI, ALFA ROMEO brands programs and will work very closely with the Stellantis Global Teams.
• This position entails working with mechatronics suppliers to ensure corporate requirements and specifications as well as industry best practice design features and processes, implementation for manufacturing, assembly, reliability, etc.
• This position involves the evaluation, simulation and testing of supplier’s component design, to ensure the compatibility with the STLA requirement.
• This position coordinates preparation of the functional specification of mechatronics components in the source package and is actively involved during the development phase of the vehicle as the technical leader.
•  Additionally, this position will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentation outlining best practices supporting Stellantis internal continuous improvement initiatives and the development of product technology roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications & Experiences;

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Automotive)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Minimum of 2 years of design/development/production experience on Mechatronics or Electronics components such as ECUs, cabin commands, actuators (window / wiper / sunroof / door mechanisms), switches, latches, sensors.
• Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience in Automotive
• Working level knowledge of Electronic System & Component Design
• Working level knowledge of DVP&R and DFMEA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, highly motivated and self-starter
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to interface professionally with key customers, cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
• Understanding the system requirements and standards specific to EMEA, NA and APAC markets.
• Experience in Stellantis Product Development Process
