Senior Marine Fuel Trader

KPI OceanConnect , one of the world’s largest independent Marine Fuels service and solutions providers is expanding and we are looking for a talented senior sales professional who wants to work in a global fast-paced environment with highly skilled colleagues. You will be based in our office in Istanbul which is renowned for its long-established partnership approach and excellent knowledge of the region as a market leader for more than 30 years. Your day-to-day responsibility will include:

• Worldwide trading and broking of Marine Fuels and lubricants, including new fuels
• Develop excellent customer and supplier partnerships, adding value and innovative solutions
• Manage fuel partnerships, contracts and risk management services
• Identify new business opportunities in all segments of the Marine Fuel supply chain

An entrepreneurial and performance-oriented profile
As a Senior Marine Fuel Trader your focus will be on sale - and purchase of Marine Fuels, market intelligence, and creating innovative solutions to optimize value for our business partners. You will focus on establishing and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients and suppliers to grow our business in new and existing markets. You will support organizational and strategic objectives and exhibit good leadership skills as an integral part of our dedicated and passionate trading team. What’s in it for you?

• Min. 5+ years in similar role with relevant experience in Marine Fuels or shipping.
• Proven track record in establishing and developing successful long-term business partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Highly motivated, resourceful, and self-driven.
• Quick-thinking, with strong business acumen, negotiation, and numerical skills. 
• Motivated by a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Enjoy customer service as well as working with people from different cultures.
