How can you make an impact?
This newly created role represents an elevated profile for a senior communications executive within Allianz.
The position will focus on identifying and communicating value creation, past and prospective, within Allianz to an internal audience, to external stakeholders and to potential investors. Being part of the newly created Financial Communication and Valuation Group, the position combines traditional financial communication with advanced investor relations techniques.
Successful communication and strong relationship management shall foster deep trust in the Allianz franchise, based on consistent and bespoke information about Allianz’s operations and strategy execution. As such, its impact will be seen in a sustainable development of Allianz’s retail shareholder base, superior engagement of employee shareholders as well as positive business support at the local entity level.

- Build Trust: Create and leverage trust capital with stakeholders in respective coverage area
- Improve Valuation: Share price outperformance and a larger, more diversified shareholder base
- Support Business: Positive impact on business volume at local operating entity level

- Ensure Relevance: Steady presence of Allianz on all relevant retail investment platforms
- Boost Verticalization and Value of Scale: Consistent valuation-based communication across operating entities
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for all aspects of value based communication and community management within a predefined region that encompasses markets in which Allianz operates. This includes external channels and platforms but also internal stakeholders, in particular business divisions
- You will also operate in alignment with the governance of Allianz Group Communications and closely align with global media and public relations practice
- You will bring to life a comprehensive value based stakeholder communication that clearly differentiates Allianz from the competition and builds lasting trust capital among relevant communities
What are you made of?
Experienced investor Relations Manager, equity or capital markets analyst, or financial communicator with strong background in conveying investment performance, creating compelling financial narratives (fundraising), comprehensive capital markets knowledge (equity; debt; portfolio management etc.) and proven track record of successful stakeholder management including retail and private investors.
Technical Requirements:
- You have broad education in any program of academic rigor and at least 10 years of professional experience that demonstrates a progression of responsibility and continued learning
- You have the business acumen to translate ideas in business terms with business tools
- You have strong news judgement and media relationships
- Able to derive insights from analytical tools to shape outcomes, package and present insights and data in creative, compelling ways
- You have strong judgement and financial markets and global insurance markets exposure
- Strong in stakeholder management
- Fluent in English and incisive writing ability required
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
