Roles and Responsibilities
- All Contract Performance related activities , typically tied to a customer site. Perform in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests.
- Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project, and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising.
- Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.
- Perform proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision
- Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters
- Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
- Responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned customer(s)
- Provide total program leadership including GE support functions and organizations
- Provide coordination with the customer ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage the Contract Margin Review process and associated profitability metrics
- Responsible for contract flow down and the development of program plans related to the Contract Performance process
- Represent GE in business and contractual discussions with customers
- Review invoices for assigned accounts and collect cash in a timely manner
- Establish productivity goals by contract or product
- Organize and support program and technical reviews with customers
- Determine and flow down customer shop visit forecasts
- Leads a team of multinational direct and indirect reports to achieve customer satisfaction, readiness goals, and business metrics
- Champion military T700/CT7 product line requirements in the development digital fleet management solutions
- Must be willing to travel internationally – expectation will be for 25% travel
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or business from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer and Program Management
- Possess or be able to obtain a US Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering, logistics, or business-related field from an accredited college or university
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing long-term customer service agreements
- Minimum of 5 years managing military aircraft maintenance/sustainment (AH-64 and UH-60 preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term contract margin reviews
- Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing/integrating ERP systems and or business specific analytic software applications
- Master Degree in engineering, logistics, or business related field from an accredited college or university
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing long-term customer service agreements
- Minimum of 5 years managing military aircraft maintenance/sustainment (AH-64 and UH-60 preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term contract margin reviews
- Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing/integrating ERP systems and or business specific analytic software applications
- Former military rotary wing aviator or aviation maintenance background
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills. Leadership experience in US Military Logistics, Supply, and Services
