The Supply Chain Coordinator learns the interworking of the Supply Chain function by completing inventory movements, data reconciliation and validation.  Executes SAP transactions and contributes to ad-hoc reporting. This role reports to the Supply Chain Specialist.

 

This position is a focal point for the business and manufacturing, and works as a liaison between Global Supply Chain, Business Managers, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory, Third-Party terminals, warehouses, suppliers, competitors, and carriers, etc. to optimize all aspects of the regional Supply Chain. This role leads necessary activities to ensure the operating plans can be executed and meet the commercial demands, and lead activities to resolve problems that do occur. Less than 10% travel is expected.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Support Supply Chain Operations for Arkema Inc. Fluorochemicals plants, tolling operations, and import of product, including:

  • Complete daily entries and routine transactions related to SAP (inventory, QC, imports, master data, third party transactional support, etc.), OTM load planning, execute purchasing receipts, invoice processing and equipment tracking for Arkema and third-party sites.
  • Perform tasks associated with equipment fleet coordination, product reclaim, etc.
  • Validate and process vendor invoices.
  • Serve as NAFTA coordinator as required.
  • Participate in Supply Chain projects as needed.

 

Support the Sales and Operations Planning, Execution Process by managing the following activities:

  • Reconcile inventory, execute SAP transactions.
  • Monitor stock levels vs. stock targets.

 

Support Arkema and Supply Chain initiatives, reporting, including digitalization:

  • Extract and organize data for ad hoc reporting.
  • Coordinate swaps and trading agreements as instructed by Supply Chain leader.
  • Assist with the adaptation of tools by the broader organization.
  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of digital initiatives, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)
  • Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or technical field preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Customer Service, or Arkema Supply Chain Internship.
  • ERP Experience (SAP strongly preferred)                                                                     
  • Experience in Transportation Management Systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with Power BI Dashboards is a plus.
