Mission and objectives
Established in 1951, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society. IOM is part of the United Nations system, as a related organization.IOM supports migrants across the world, developing effective responses to the shifting dynamics of migration and, as such, is a key source of advice on migration policy and practice. The organization works in emergency situations, developing the resilience of all people on the move, and particularly those in situations of vulnerability, as well as building capacity within governments to manage all forms and impacts of mobility.The Organization is guided by the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, including upholding human rights for all. Respect for the rights, dignity and well-being of migrants remains paramount.
Context
At the IOM Staff Welfare Unit, we create content to support the well-being of our staff. We share these contents periodically through newsletters or during events organized for the personnel. We believe that enhancing the visuals of these contents will make the information more understandable and facilitate better perception. Therefore, we are seeking a short-term online volunteer to support us professionally in designing through tools like Canva or similar programs.Our volunteer team member, with whom we will be collaborating, will be part of tasks aimed at providing information on psychological support to valuable humanitarian workers, especially as we approach the anniversary of the disaster. Even for a short period, he/she will experience the solidarity within a team working in the field of humanitarian aid for an international organization.
Task description

We believe that enhancing the visuals of these contents will make the information more understandable and facilitate better perception. Therefore, we are seeking a short-term online volunteer to support us professionally in designing through tools like Canva or similar programs in accordance with IOM Brand Guidelines.Content will be provided by IOM Türkiye Staff Welfare. Expected designs are as follows:-Designing layout of 4 newsletters-Designing 3 presentations (each between 30-40 slides)The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance. SPECIAL NOTICE: This is an unpaid assignment. Upon successful completion of the task, Online Volunteer will receive certificate issued by UNV.
