Reporting to the Art & Culture Director, in a context of development and growth of the activity, the internship will provide a well-rounded experience to an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual.
Main missions :
- Assist with planning, organization, implementation and oversight of cultural arts/history programs and special events within area of responsibility.
- Provide developmentally appropriate activities that meet the needs and interests of participants.
- Assist in the development and implementation of long-range plans and strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of goals and objectives specific to area of responsibility. May develop and implement intern project.
- Assist in evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of program and services, making recommendations on introduction or deletion of programs and services.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for cultural arts programs, services, and facilities consisting of appropriate pricing and promotional efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of specific program details consistent with cultural arts marketing strategy.
- Prepare and maintain management reports and records regarding programs and services.
- Assist in scheduling facility rental and program use. Assist with management of facilities as needed.
- Establish a cooperative planning and working relationship with co-workers, community agencies, and organizations.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, History, Recreation, or a related field. Art Management knwoledge is a plus
- Your sense of organization leads you to know how to rigorously manage your priorities and different tasks simultaneously, always proactive and committed.
- You speak and write fluently Italian and English. French is a plus
- Master of PowerPoint.
- General knowledge of principles of historical, recreation, and/or cultural arts planning and operations.
