Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering),
• Proven experience (5 years) in contract management or related field, preferably within the energy or construction industry,
• Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles relevant to construction and engineering contracts,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical and legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders,
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, identify solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure,
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously,
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite,
• Professional certifications in contract management or related fields (e.g., Certified Commercial Contract Manager, Certified Professional Contracts Manager) are a plus,
• Fluency in written and spoken English,
• Have strong cognitive and critical thinking ability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales and engineering departments to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines to meet customer needs effectively,
• Liaise with the Legal Department to review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including EPC contracts and subcontractor agreements, as well as wind farms operation and maintenance (O&M) agreements and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) agreements,
  
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential legal or contractual issues related to project execution,
• Work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to mitigate any risks or disputes that may arise during project implementation,
• Provide guidance and support to project managers and stakeholders on contractual matters, including change orders, claims management, and dispute resolution,
• Develop and maintain contract management processes, templates, and tools to streamline contract administration and ensure consistency across projects,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and legal, to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in contract management practices,
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, legal developments, and regulatory requirements related to solar PV projects and contract management.
