We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Executive Administrative Assistant. You will be responsible for maintaining an executive’s schedule and be an active supporter of both the Controls leadership team as well as the Longmont site. This position is responsible for handling highly confidential documents, protecting organization’s confidential information, communication, and information management, and managing department supplies and events. The controls leadership team consists of the controls business leader and a team of five executives that report to that leader. The majority of this team members are based out of the Longmont location. The Longmont site itself acts as the global epicenter for the controls business and houses around 170 employees.

What you’ll do

  • Support the executive director of the controls business and their leadership team by:
    • Regularly plan and manage Sr Executive/CEO level meetings and customer events.
    • Maintaining calendars, identify conflicts, and resolve issues in a proactive and prompt manner.
    • Interacting with both internal and external senior level executives in a positive and professional manner.
    • Exhibiting comfortability with financial information as you will process travel & living expenses (T&L) in accordance with GE guidelines.
    • Coordinating with communications team on matters relative to executive's messaging/voice.
    • Maintaining absolute security of highly confidential information.
    • Prepares agendas and makes arrangements for meetings.
    • Reads, sorts, and analyzes incoming correspondence, emails, submissions, reports, in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
  • You will also support the needs at the Longmont site from a coordination standpoint, this includes:
    • Responsibility for site visitors – will create visitor badges and manage visitor meals as needed.
    • Coordinating/planning any on-site events for the business.
    • Mail distribution responsibility at the site (distribute will call shelf items).
    • Will engage in purchases for the site (purchase requisitions for the facility – for example catering).
    • Manage site-wide shared calendar (highlighting when meeting rooms are booked or large events are occurring).
    • Responsible for active seating chart at the site – which cubicles/offices are occupied, and which are empty. Also has ability to allocate offices per site policy.
    • Placing work orders as needed.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma and 8 plus years of relevant work experience.
  • This role requires advanced experience (8+ years) in business management & executive support.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • On-site presence, this role needs to be performed at the Longmont site and be here during core working hours (7 am – 3:30 pm) with some earlier hours as needed.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $74,800.00 - $93,500.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.

his position is also eligible for  5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. ​

*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
