Could you be the Reception Administration Assistant we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your administrative and organisational skills in a new cutting-edge field. Based at our ANZ head office in North Ryde, you’ll be a part of a small and collaborative team who ensure the office is operating at the highest standard.

This an exciting opportunity to join Alstom in a diverse and varied role, where you will be the first impression for our visitors and phone enquiries. You will primarily be based in our corporate reception area and your core hours will be 8:30am to 5pm, however there will be times this may vary slightly.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Greeting visitors, managing guest passes and the visitor register
  • Answering calls and maintaining the phone system
  • Setting up meeting rooms for training and events, and clearing the rooms afterwards
  • Ordering catering, stationary and other office supplies
  • Managing the car parking system and helping staff and visitors with their parking queries
  • Managing the incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
  • Providing general and ad-hoc administrative support to various departments
  • Collaboratively managing the facilities - cleaners, plant maintenance/pest control etc
  • Assisting in the management of purchase orders
  • General organisation of the office including arranging desk spaces and ensuring desks are tidy a the end of each day

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential
