Installation & Commissioning > Site Execution Management > Installation & Commissioning Offshore
Develop, implement and manage a robust commissioning framework across people functions, to deliver and continuously improve the quality and cost effectiveness of services. Provide commissioning expertise and coordinates commissioning resources for the development of commissioning related deliverables, including participation in constructability, operability activities and engineering design reviews.
Responsibilities
- Setup Design System Interfaces and lead SCADA commissioning.Maintain and reconfigure the SCADA, power regulation and control systems
- Development of additional features as per customer's request
- Create work instructions and define critical spare parts
- Assist in project site inspections while working on multiple assignments
- Creation and review of Technical Requirement Specifications, Design Descriptions
- Network Design and Network Troubleshooting both remotely and on-site
- Creation and review of Test & Verification Procedures and Reports
- Performs corrective and preventive maintenance for installed SCADA systems
- Reports on system status and coordination for updates
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in electrical or Controls engineering or Electro Technical Officer (ETO - STCW III/6)
- 5+ years relevant technical experience, experience in power generation or distribution preferred
- Experience with computer networks, communication systems, control & instrumentation is required
- Proficiency in English (fluent - speaking and writing)
- Knowledge of the design, installation and testing of fibre optic communication systems/networks is required
- Knowledge of the design and installation of low voltage electrical systems, including associated standards, is desirable
- Knowledge of the design and installation of control, protection and metering systems including associated standards, is desirable
- Appropriate electrical qualification and background related to the authorization scope
- 5 years of operation and commissioning experience within the field of high voltage electricity, offshore experience preferable
- Complete and up to date GWO
- Minimum 1 year of working experience within onshore substations systems
- Minimum 6 months of working experience within offshore substations systems
- Minimum 1 year of working experience within wind turbines
- Medium & HV substation electrical equipment, systems, design, AC/DC hi-pots, low resistance ohm meters, communication systems (SCADA), OTO & LOTO procedures
- Experience in HV/Substation and WTG SCADA used in Offshore Wind and their infrastructure
- Experience in control systems, automation, SCADA, PLC's, RTU's and IED's
- Experience in Industrial Communication Protocols (especially OPC-family, Modbus, IEC-104 and MMS) and their network specific behaviors
- Willingness to learn about the Communication Systems commonly used in Offshore Windfarms: Tetra, VHF, 4G, IP Telephony... Previous knowledge or experience is a plus
- Knowledge in SQL-Server Query and Virtualization Platforms like VMware is a plus
- Knoledge or experience in Cyber Security requirements for Critical Infrastructures is a plus
- Ability to carry on risk analysis and implement mitigation plans
- Ability to handle multiple assignments as needed and plan them dependent on project priority
