Develop, implement, & drive continuous improvement of Product Lifecycle Management processes for GE Vernova Renewable Energy Enterprise Systems (PLM, ERP, & ALM). Leverage contemporary and emerging disruptive digital technologies to improve productivity and cost while encouraging innovative solutions. Deliver advanced digital solutions that enable execution of the Design Anywhere, Build Anywhere, and Service Everywhere product management strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Product Owner for post shipment Unit BoM management (As-Installed & As-Running) and other processes that support Services (Spare Parts, Serialization, & Kits).
  • Utilize Agile Scrum Product Owner framework to define and enhance processes that enable effective and efficient configuration management of the wind turbine fleet.
  • Define data sharing and system integration requirements between Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems.
  • Test and validate data quality and completeness between PLM, ERP, & ALM systems.
  • Develop robust processes to ensure reliable high quality data exchange between Enterprise Systems (PLM, ERP, & ALM) during the build and post shipment product lifecycles (as-built, as-installed, & as-running).
  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of product change management processes and how it enables the synchronization of data between Enterprise Systems.
  • Secure agreement from all Renewable Energy businesses, organizations, and segments for a single process.
  • Drive PLM, ERP, & ALM integration process mapping, identify procedural and control gaps while recommending, designing, validating, and implementing related solutions.
  • Collaborate with Renewable Energy businesses to develop requirements, create process maps, track metrics, and identify benefits with a specific focus on productivity, cost of quality, tool reduction, and on-time delivery.
  • Continuously monitor and communicate project status and issues.
  • Support the GE Vernova Digital Industrial Strategy, including Digital Thread, Brilliant Factory, Digital Twin, and Digital DNA (Understand how it relates to Renewable Energy’s PLM Strategy).
  • Update ISO documents and training material to reflect PLM, ERP, ALM process changes.
  • Define and execute test plans that support software releases.
  • Develop and maintain training materials.
  • Collaborate with other process and tool owners to identify efficient enterprise solutions.
  • Develop and maintain multi-generation product/process plans.
  • Complete critical business deliverables (process and tool development).
  • Audit PLM and related ERP/ALM processes to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Detailed understanding of all PLM, ERP, and ALM processes and how they interact.
  • Part types – understand the numerous purposes, requirements, & behaviors.
  • Specifications – understand all types of documents used to control part requirements.
  • Change Management – support evolution of change management process to improve synchronization of product definition and physical items.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) Experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years Asset Life Cycle Management (ALM) Experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of work experience with PLM, ERP, & ALM tools and processes (Aras Innovator, Dassault Systems Enovia PLM, Teamcenter, Windchill, Oracle ERP, SAP ERP, Oracle Installed Base, MRO applications, etc.).

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to enter data into multiple business systems (PLM, ERP, ALM).
  • Works well with cross functional groups – good interpersonal skills with all types of personalities.
  • Experience working in a global environment with multiple cultures and time zones.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Tools.
  • Ability to travel to appropriate work locations, as required (when no global travel restrictions exist).
  • Well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Change agent with a global mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Ability to interface effectively at all levels of businesses and organizations to achieve priorities.
  • Thorough understanding of how PLM is utilized to manage parts, products, and related data throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Quality & Safety oriented mindset.
  • Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Experience.
  • Highly accountable and strong learning mindset.
  • Experience in Renewable Energy technologies.
  • Self-directed and proven team leadership skills.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black belt certified (GE Employees Only).
  • Extensive experience in Configuration and Change Management methodology with demonstrated successful implementation and usage.
  • Project Management mind-set that includes aggressive planning, schedule commitments, and efficient resource controllership.
  • Proven experience in software development.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills.
  • A flexible worker with the ability to adapt to new challenges as they arise.
  • Experience/Certification with the Institute of Process Excellence (CM2 Methodologies).
