UABOS Turkey: Business Operations ManagerDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, manage and monitor the performance of USAFE-AFAFRICA UA BOS program in providing day-to-day business and financial support throughout Turkey and Spain at the following locations: Incirlik AB, Izmir Air Station, Office of Defense Cooperation-Turkey, Ankara Support Facility Turkey and Moron AB Spain. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans to include the development of proposals
- Evaluates financial feasibility, operational effectiveness, labor utilization and cost containment.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining client and customer contacts, evaluate and respond to client and customer inquiries.
- Assists in implementation of programs and processes to meet business and financial goals.
- Works with the Program Manager to insure the timely communication flow to and from customers across the program.
- Follows established KBR processes ensuring quality throughout the processes.
- Coordinates with customers to ensure desired objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management
- Troubleshoots problem areas and coordinates problem resolution or recommends solutions to management.
- Responsible for all aspects of the procurement process.
- Identifies the specific payment process required for purchases. (Solicitation, P-card, Single Source, etc.)
- Manages, coordinates, and communicates workflow on technical and business requirements.
- Collects, organizes, and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain compliance.
- Supports the Program Manager by performing monthly reviews and analysis of labor and non-labor and makes recommendations based on results.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the UA BOS Program Manager
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Preferred:
- U.S. Citizenship Status required with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or enrolled to complete an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of project management experience
- Costpoint Experience preferred
- MS Excel Experience
- Able to make decisions using data provided.
- Strong client communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment with a focus on the customer.
