GE’s Power Conversion business, part of GE Vernova, provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organization, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day EHS support for service activities and projects.
- Support and monitor the Projects and Services ITO process and operations to ensure completion of EHS Plans.
- Oversee all customer contractor safety portals and maintain approved scores for all active customers.
- Conduct audits of the projects and service’s teams at customer sites to ensure compliance with policies/procedures.
- Provide immediate direct support to field service employees that work at customer sites.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of the discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Use some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters.
- Utilize internal external sources to provide resolution to any EHS issues.
- Interface with other GE EHS professionals to cross validate best practices and standardize processes.
- Explain information and regulation with the aim of developing skills to bring team members to consensus.
- Responsible for obtaining clearance to access customer sites
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (with Major in Health & Safety as a desired asset) or a high school diploma with relevant experience & accredited EHS Safety Training Courses.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting EHS initiatives.
- Experience in field based EHS protocols
- Ability and willingness travel up to 50%

The salary range for this position is 77,900.00 - 97,400.00 - 116,900.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
