Voluntas was created from the fundamental belief that all human beings have the inherent right to live a meaningful life. Philosophers by heart and advisors by profession, we use our insights to provide evidence-based inspiration, tools, and recommendations for our partners around the world. We have a permanent presence in ten countries, with ongoing projects in Asia, Europe, East and North Africa, the Middle East, and Ukraine.
In the MENA region, our portfolio is mainly focused on providing research and monitoring and evaluation services in developing countries, conflict zones, fragile states, and transitional environments. To date, we have implemented over 150 projects with partners including UN agencies, the EU, USAID, and international NGOs. Our projects focus on policy and programming, needs assessments, learning, sustainability, perception studies, contextual analysis, and monitoring and evaluation. We work on thematic areas such as the environment and climate change, conflict resolution, employment, food security, gender, governance, human rights, migration, political economy, prevention of violent extremism, public health, WASH, and youth.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to head our North AfricaRegional Office based in Tunis, Tunisia. The ideal candidate will at least 5 years’ experience in leadership positions within the international cooperation sphere including some roles encompassing monitoring and evaluation and/or research activities.

Your Responsibilities
- Representing Voluntas in front of existing and potential new partners and clients, acting as focal point for Tunisia and the North Africa region.
- Managing projects in close collaboration with Voluntas colleagues and external partners; including drafting and presenting clear policy and/or program recommendations for high-level clients.
- Lead a team of ambitious, intelligent, curious, and intellectual colleagues towards realizing their potential.
- Leading business development initiatives in the North Africa region.
- Ensuring a smooth functioning of the office while supporting the team in experiencing meaningful work.
- Providing context awareness of North Africa contexts
- Participating in global meetings and ensuring smooth coordination with other offices together with learning across the organization.
- Participating in and contributing to strategic discussions about the development of Voluntas as an organization as well as the path towards a growth in global impact.

Advantage:
- Knowledge of research methods for social science (sampling, weighting, data cleaning and management, descriptive statistics, inference analysis)
