What impact you can make?
You will become a part of the delivery team for one of our key Customers in the Airspace Industry, taking care of Air Traffic Management, Flight planning and Air Traffic Control capacity planning. Our Customer has embarked on the multi-year journey of IT landscape modernization to improve efficiency of the European Air Traffic Management systems under the most critical programme in European public sector area. Working as a part of the team you will be engaged in the delivery of ground breaking IT systems supporting pan-European aviation and crafting the future of European Air Traffic Management.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and product owners to grasp non-functional requirements.
- Craft comprehensive Performance/Non-functional test scripts using tools like Locust.
- Lead the development, implementation, and documentation of a robust, modular, and reusable non-functional and performance-testing framework.
- Implement Performance Test scripts using Locust and other groundbreaking tools.
- Conduct diverse Performance Testing types (e.g., Load, Stress, endurance) across On-Premises and Cloud architectures.
- Dive deep into root-cause analysis, pinpointing and logging performance issues and bottlenecks.
- Keep a watchful eye on performance metrics.
- Deliver impactful Performance Test reports for both internal and external partners.

Required skills and experience:
- 3+ years of Performance Testing experience with backend, API/Web services applications.
- Proficiency in the Locust tool.
- Python programming experience
- Solid skills in performance analysis, including load, stress, and endurance testing.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring & diagnostic tools like Kibana.
- Proven understanding of messaging protocols and API technologies.
- Understanding of AIX or Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of Networking Technologies, including load balancing and firewalls.
- Expertise in structured test methods and processes.
- Proven track record of producing Performance Test reports.
- Experience with test stubs, mocking, and simulator tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins for test integration.
- Mentorship abilities to guide junior team members.
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Completed university studies of 4 years (master’s degree) in a relevant domain (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
- Air traffic domain experience (Flight, Flow, Routing, Capacity planning) would be considered an advantage.
