We are seeking a Technical Engineer to be responsible for maintaining and administering our Linux-based systems and ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Role responsibilities:
Good working knowledge of German and English languages.
Work well within and across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems and applications, including servers, networks, and storage devices.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system backups.
Install and configure software and hardware components, including third-party applications, middleware, and utilities.
Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting and automation tools.
Collaborate with IT teams, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, provide technical support, and implement system improvements.
Automate the provisioning and configuration of large-scale infrastructure using platforms and tools like: Ansible, Sc Venus, (Chef/Puppet), Git-hub.
Troubleshoot complex problems within the HPC environment (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Suse)
Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
