For our Big Data & Cyber Security division we are looking for a Technical Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team at the Zurich location as soon as possible.
Your new challenges:
- With the team, you are in charge of ensuring the availability of radio communication means for the blue fire organizations in Switzerland.
- You lead projects as the main system engineer and constitute the interface between project management, integration, and validation.
- You are the technical contact person internally and externally.
- You perform architectural tasks in the field of Tetrapol.
- You develop new technical solutions.
- You resolve technical escalations between clients and subcontractors.
- You analyze complex technical questions.
What makes you:
- You have a complete basic education or a university degree (Uni/HF/FH) in the field of electronics or computer science, and you have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of telecommunications.
- You have knowledge of IP networks and can justify corresponding certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
- Knowledge in the radio field is an advantage.
- Experience in the design, planning, and deployment of high-frequency radio systems is a plus.
- Knowledge in the field of Tetrapol, Tetra, or other PMR radio technologies is an advantage.
- As you will be working on projects in the emergency services field, you must have a clean criminal record and be domiciled in Switzerland. You must also meet the requirements for the personal security check (PSP) of the DDPS.
- You have a good command of German and/or French, written and spoken, and can also communicate very well in English.
- It is necessary to travel within Switzerland.
- You are fluent in French and German, both orally and in writing, and you also express yourself very well in English.
