We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Project Engineer at our Location in El Salto
Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Project Engineer will be responsible for generating the documentation and standards required for the new launches in accordance with customer requirements and our plant standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue the level 2 schedule (Level II timing) based on the committed dates for the launch of each of the projects.
- Prepare manufacturing flow diagrams for the products in the projects under your responsibility.
- Work closely with Engineering to ensure that the proposed product design can be manufactured in standard processes from the project initiation phases.
- Analyze modes and effects of potential design failures (FMEA-D) and lessons learned from similar processes to prepare an (FMEA-P) Analysis of the modes and effects of the process, which guarantees not putting product quality at risk.
- Develop specifications for equipment and/or services to initiate a clearly defined bidding process
Requirements:
- Bachelor engineering electromechanical, industrial
- Experience 3-5 years, in automotive (preferent) focus in the same positin
- Fluent English
- Shock Absorber Assembly Processes
- Project Management (MS Project / Project Management) (knowledge)
- Windows Office, Autocad 2D & 3D
- Quality and environmental systems (ISO/TS, IATF)
- Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA)
- Analysis techniques for problem solving (8D, DOE)
- Change Management (ECM)
- Interpretation of plans and geometric tolerances
- Feasibility analysis. (TWB)
- Flowcharts and PFMEA
- Poka-yokes
- Creation of specifications for equipment and/or services
- Times and Motions, Line Balancing, Standard Time Calculation
- Work instructions, Standard work methods, set up instructions
- Leadership
- Meeting Management
