Our position where we invite you to join us: Strategic Planning and Business Development Specialist

So, what responsibilities does the Strategic Planning and Business Development Specialisttake on at Otokoç Otomotiv?


  • Conducting trend, market, and benchmark analyses to provide input for strategic plans and leading strategic plan workshops
  • Support business units in terms of setting game plans, priorities, and targets in line with the Company's strategic direction,
  • Coordinating long-term financial projection study by ensuring inputs&outputs of the strategies are reflected
  • Preparing strategic plan presentation
  • Building an implementation plan of the initiatives encompassing all relevant stakeholders,
  • Leading strategy dashboard study by ensuring the right KPIs and targets are set,
  • Steering budget and OKR alignment with strategies.
  • Managing strategy tracking process within the scope of dynamic strategy governance approach
  • Conducting strategy communication activities
  • Detecting strategic entrepreneurship opportunities,
  • Making growth opportunities visible by market/benchmark/best practice analysis. Supporting business units through market and financial projections.
  • Preparing go-to-market plan(s) for selected new business opportunities and tracking performance after commercialization.
  • Providing inputs for strategic growth projects (geographical footprint expansion, M&A, etc.) to contribute decision-making process in accordance with strategic direction
  • Evaluating new business opportunities in terms of strategic fit and company competencies

What are the Required Qualifications?


  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Strategic Planning and Business Development departments in multi-national companies
  • Advanced analytical thinking and analysis skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, involving multiple stakeholders, complicated and ambiguous problems in particular
  • Strong researching and reporting skills, experienced in executive reporting in particular
  • Solid experience in feasibility / company evaluation
  • Strong planning, organization, and presentations skills
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and coordination skills
  • Fluent in English
