The Contract Manager in Eviden is a strong client facing role. The Contract Manager is a Key player in the account governance, participating at top level executive meetings as a trustful advisor to the business teams, and managing compliance with contractual obligations protecting Eviden’ interests and supporting business strategy decisions.
The Contract Manager community in Eviden is a team of highly experienced contract experts, working in a global and smart professional environment within the major accounts of the Group across several countries. Eviden Contract Managers are interconnected via latest technology tools that allow building the network to exchange knowledge and share different experiences. The community, managed by The Legal, Compliance and Contract management function, shares the same consistent methodology and standards defined at the Group level and enjoys the mobility and career opportunities for professional progressing
Key responsibilities for the role:
- The CM works closely with the account executive team and support functions (finance, legal etc.), and is responsible for ensuring awareness of and compliance with the contract and contract management processes. The focus of the job is within the following areas:
- management of the daily contractual relationship with the customer and main subcontractors,
- advising on contract execution and interpretation,
- being point of contact of the account delivery team for all contractual matters (contract follow up and legal aspects),
- collaboration with the delivery teams to follow the evolution lifecycle of the contract,
- key role in negotiations preparations, strategy definition and meetings with the customer and main partners,
- drafting of various contractual documents of different levels of complexity,
- identifying, assessing and managing risk-related areas in the contract execution, assisting in any dispute resolution process.
To be successful in the role:
Experience required in:
- Contract management / legal and commercial / contracts negotiation,
- Experience in IT Sector market. Strong understanding of commercial and contracting issues, regulations and terms and conditions within contracting, systems integration, application and development maintenance, and infrastructure/outsourcing contracts.
Skills needed:
- Strong business focus, problem solving, and result orientation,
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a fluctuating workload,
- Discipline and ability to set up and follow processes,
- Deliver on commitments (reliable, risk sensitive, agile and creative),
- Strong communication skills with all level of management (external or internal).
Knowledge expected:
- Languages: Dutch and English is a requirement.
- French (can be a +),
- Tools: Proficiency in using MS Office, Databases, process flows etc
