JOB DIMENSION

  • The incumbent reports directly to BUs Asia Head and functionally to the President of Arkema in Korea.
  • Manage 5BUs business in Korea to achieve and maximize sales revenues, margin budget and company’s objectives
  1. Molecular Sieves - Energy, Petrochemical, Medical, Industrial Gas and CASE segments
  2. Fluoro Specialties - Fluoro refrigerant, Foam agent, Sebacic Acid
  3. Acrylic - Acrylic Cationic, Butyl Acrylate, Glacial Aryclic Acid
  4. Hydrogen Peroxides & Derivatives - Sodium Chlorate, Oxygenate (Technical Fluid)
  5. Specialty Surfactants - Surfactant, Polyol
  • Identify, organize and lead process of new business development projects
  • Maintain Sales Force
  • Direct subordinates: 2 Customer service by BU with assigned time share

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO - 1

  • Promotion of products or services to develop new business development, increase of market share and obtain competitive market position
  • Responsible for the cost control
  • Maintain salesforce – Visit report, Opportunities, Lead, Account, etc.,
  • Collect and undertake market investigation on a regular basis
  • Manage and support customer’s technical service request remotely or on-site.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO - 2

  • Internal relationship
  1. Monthly report and/or meeting on business activities with BU Asia head
  2. Interacts and coordinate with BUs
  3. Accurate forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly sales streams
  4. Apply all internal rules in supply chain, finance, compliances, payment terms, etc.,with strong relationships with corporate functions
  5. Provide and manage annual sales, volume, margin and cost budget
  • External relationship
  1. Build up good relationship with strategic key accounts and market segments
  2. Multi-level contacts within the industries

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical or related field and more than 5years experience in Chemical industry
  • Enough experience in sales and new development
  • Enough experience & knowledge on trading process (Export & Import)
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organization skills.
  • Fluent in English
