Main purpose of the role: | The Divisional Sales Manager is responsible for the correct management of Stores and Wholesalers for the concrete implementation of the sales strategies identified by the Country Manager, through the supervision of the activities managed by the Regional Sales Managers. He/she monitors the sales targets achievement for the assigned area and identify the action plans to be implemented (according to the global and local guidelines) in order to guarantee the offer of an exceptional customer experience and safeguard the image of the brand. |
Key accountabilities: | - Ensure that the stores/POS are regularly visited by the RSM in order to control aesthetics, order and cleanliness, guarantee the proper management of the store and sales execution, according to the commercial strategies of the company.
- Supervise all promotional and sales activities, monitor sales targets and related KPIs suggesting prompt corrective actions if needed.
- Monitor, analyze and follow-up on the assigned commercial budget (sell out and sell in), pursuing continuous improvement and ensuring the consistency of performances.
- Ensure the assignment of the yearly individual goals, takes care of the quarterly conversations, shows acumen in reaching them.
- Support, train, guide and provide feedback to the RSMs, developing their skills and ensuring a succession plan.
- Ensure procedures, policies, legal requirements and ethical standards are followed to ensure company assets are protected and the climate is good.
- Responsible for the FTE budget and the hourly productivity monitoring (including overtime).
- Ensure a cost effective mindset, while monitoring expenses and posm consumption.
- Support the omnichannel mindset development.
- Share the information coming from HQ and GO with the RSMs and vice versa, collecting customers’ and RSMs’ needs and converting them into solutions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers across the channel and monitor their satisfaction, in order to endorse the business with them and always promote a more qualitative partnership.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with store owners, franchisees and store staff.
- Develop and maintain the wholesale network, ensuring high standard level, while working closely with Network & Development department.
- Act as a facilitator between store staff/franchisee partners/multi brand retailers and other Departments involved in the daily management of the store/POS in order to maximize the mutual commercial satisfaction and the brand image.
- Contribute to effective team-working by working collaboratively with all departments in the Company.

Educational background: | Bachelor Master PhD |
Field of study: (Preferred education) | - University degree in Marketing, business and/or equivalent professional experience

Pivotal and professional qualifications: | Years’ experience 0 yrs. 1-3 yrs. 3-5 yrs. 5-8 yrs. > 8 yrs. Equivalent combination of experience and education accepted - Minimum 5 years experience in a regional sales role, with focus on Operation & Development activities.
- Sound working knowledge of Retail field, strategies and practices.
