The fact that prior sales experience is not a requirement opens the door for a diverse range of candidates, allowing individuals from various backgrounds and experience levels to apply.

The Package

  • Competitive salary with on target earnings ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 with uncapped commission for over achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Identification:
  • Proactively identify potential customers within the UK market.
  • Utilise market research and industry knowledge to pinpoint target segments.
  1. Needs Assessment:
  • Engage with potential and existing merchants in person to understand their challenges.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify pain points and requirements.

Product Knowledge:

  • Acquire a deep understanding of Teya’s products and their applications.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Teya’s products to potential customers.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with merchants by demonstrating genuine interest and understanding.
  • Establish rapport and trust to create a positive customer experience.

Closing:

  • Apply effective sales strategies to persuade potential customers and close deals.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions in line with company guidelines.

Business Expansion:

  • Contribute to the overall growth of Teya’s business in the UK market.
  • Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Market Feedback:

  • Provide valuable insights and feedback from the field to enhance product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the team to adapt strategies based on market dynamics.

Brand Representation:

  • Act as a representative of Teya, embodying the company’s values and vision.
  • Uphold the brand image and contribute to positive brand recognition.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports to the sales management team.

End Goal:

The ultimate goal of the field sales team at Teya is to be the driving force behind the growth and success of the company in the UK market. By understanding customer needs, building strong relationships, and effectively promoting Teya’s products, you will play a crucial role in establishing Teya as a trusted partner and solution provider in the field. Your mission is not only to close deals but also to create lasting partnerships and contribute to the overall satisfaction and success of our merchants.

Qualifications

We are looking for people with the following attributes:

  • Have a passion for sales and always put the customer first. Whether you have zero experience or many years
  • Effective time and planning skills; this is a 360 degree role from the sourcing of leads to conversion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactiveness in finding new customers;
  • Fierce competitiveness and relentlessness when it comes to goals and targets;
  • Initiative and certainty in your ability to overcome objections and obstacles;
  • Eagerness to learn and improve every day: you have great energy and passion for what you do;
  • A self-starter “can-do” attitude;
  • Confidence, effective communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Resilience and optimism in the face of adversity;
  • Fluency in English, any other languages are a plus;
  • You have the right to work in the UK;
  • You have a driver’s license and car;

Your team:

You will be part of a strong and talented team that’s passionate, energetic, competitive, and utilises data for every decision. You will be the face of Teya, the one closest to our CEO: the Merchant ! As merchants are at the core of our business, your team’s job is to establish long-lasting relationships with merchants, enabling them to operate more efficiently and assisting them in growing their business. You will also work closely with different teams, contributing towards providing data-driven insights that will lead us to improve our merchant experience.

Mission Statement:

As part of the UK sales team, your mission is to drive business growth by identifying potential customers, understanding their challenges, and strategically leveraging Teya products to solve those challenges. Your role is pivotal in building strong relationships with both potential and existing merchants, contributing to the expansion of our market presence and fostering a culture of care and partnership.
