If you are a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Manager within an animal nutrition & health industry specialized it poultry field and you’re graduated from Veterinary or Animal Nutrition/Science Faculty then this could be the perfect match for you! As a Poultry Business Development Expert, you will be responsible for strategizing and implementing initiatives to expand our Poultry Business across Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. Your expertise will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing key partnerships, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our company.
This position will report to Head of Marketing and Business Development TRMEA.
Key responsibilities
Supports execution of the strategy for ANH with special focus on Performance Solutions
Responsible for planning and execution of all local field trials (universities and customer trials)
Responsible for early customer engagement trials (when done in that geography) and to ensure close collaboration with Global Innovation in trial development, data and customer experience
Responsible for local product and species training to Account managers and Technical Sales Managers
Co-responsible for planning and execution of Performance Solutions Sales
Monitor market, environment & competitive activity to support the development of appropriate products and services to exploit strengths and to respond threats or opportunities pre-emptively.
Interact and regularly communicate with other departments to continuously reinforce the importance of understanding and meeting external customer needs to be competitive and to meet set expectations meeting market needs and value deliverables.
Ensure development of effective technical service solutions by providing analytical support for Poultry segment.
Ensures compliance with DSM standards and policies for the Poultry related activities.
Responsible for establishing contacts with the authorities in the related markets to coordinate the registration process together with the Regulatory affairs manager.
You Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture Engineer, Animal Nutrition / Science
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Animal Nutrition – Poultry category with strong commercial capabilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, customer orientation and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
High level of self-motivation and the ability to work in an unsupervised capacity while maintaining focus
Results oriented with excellent relationship building abilities
Outstanding presentation, selling and negotiating skills
Concise and astute communication skills
Demonstrated superior sales project management skills and evidence of the ability to successfully complete projects
Turkish native and English fluent
Availability for travelling
Driving license
